With the newest addition to their impressive collection of spirits, Limestone Branch Distillery honors the generations that have shaped their brand. Inspired by the history and heritage of the Beam family, Bowling and Burch Gin is a “New World” gin named after the family matriarch.
Bowling and Burch joins its fellow Limestone Branch brands as a nod to the family’s rich history of distilling in Lebanon, Kentucky.
Brothers Steve and Paul Beam started Limestone Branch as seventh-generation distillers. “We are grounded in tradition, while looking forward to the future,” Steve says. Their flagship bourbon is Yellowstone Bourbon, whose creation goes back to the family’s pioneering distillers in 1872. The brothers meticulously crafted and perfected the recipe for Bowling and Burch before scaling it. It is truly a handcrafted product, with all steps of the production process occurring on-site in Lebanon, including growing some of the botanicals. As a New World gin, Bowling and Burch captures the delicate floral notes from hibiscus and honeysuckle flowers and layers of citrus captured from lemon and orange peel, as well as lemon verbena and lemongrass. This is a smooth gin that is as easy to drink neat as it is in a cocktail.
While you’re at it, try their Minor Case Straight Rye Whiskey – it makes a fantastic Manhattan.
